Shall be either a part-time
or full-time student pursuing a bachelor's or master's
degree in accounting or an equivalent designated post-baccalaureate
certificate of accounting. |

Shall have completed a minimum
of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a declared
major in accounting. |

3. |
Shall be attending
an accredited college, university or professional school
of accounting. |

4. |
Need not be
a member of ASWA. |

If you have earned a professional certification in a field related to accounting or finance during the 24 months ending February 15, 2012, we encourage you to apply for a spring 2012 Foundation Certification “Scholarship.” We want to recognize our members’ achievements!
You may have earned a CPA, CFP, CFE, CIA, CMA, CVA or CGFM, any of which cost you a significant amount of money in exam, certification or license fees. The Foundation would like to help ASWA members by reimbursing you for all or a part of your related expenses.

To be considered for the "Professional Certification Scholarship" please complete the Certificate Scholarship application
form and submit it along with your resume, grade transcript and diagnostic report of you passing exam scores. Please
note the deadline for the completed Professional Certification Scholarship application is March 1, 2012.
The Foundation awards these “scholarships” to ASWA members only.
In support of our mission, this program was developed by the leaders of the foundation for the purpose of assisting students and professionals in need of financial support to pursue their goals of higher education or certification.

CPA Review Course Scholarship:
To be considered a recipient for the CPA Review Course Scholarship, please complete the the CPA Review Scholarship
application form. An essay of 150-250 words describing your professional goals and involvement in ASWA will help the scholarship committee determine the best scholarship recipient. Any applicant who does not submit a complete form, essay and grade transcript will not be considered.
If you are selected to receive the CPA review course, either CPAexcel or Kaplan CPA Review will contact you with instructions to redeem your review course. This scholarship cannot be used for a course you have already completed, or for which you have already registered. The foundation and the review provider do not reimburse for expenditures already made on a review program.

Dear ASWA Member,
Deciding to pursue a PhD in accounting may be one of the biggest decisions of your life. The ASWA Educational Foundation recognizes the value of supporting ASWA members in reaching these academic and professional goals. We are proud to announce the new "Dr. Mary Feeney Bonawitz, Accounting PhD Scholarship." The purpose of this scholarship is to honor and recognize superlative achievement by ASWA members who are PhD students seeking a degree in accounting. The scholarship award is $1,000 to be applied towards research costs incurred in completing a PhD accounting program.
To be considered for the Dr. Mary Feeney Bonawitz, Accounting PhD Scholarship, please fully complete the application form. To help the scholarship committee determine the best scholarship recipient, please also submit a 150-250 word essay about your reasons for pursuing a PhD in accounting and how you plan to advocate for women in the accounting profession. Any applicant who does not submit a complete application form, essay and grade transcript will not be considered.
