Timothy
J. Rice, Esquire, South
Jerseys Premier Elder Law Attorney
Since 1992, Mr. Rice has concentrated his practice in elder
law, including Medicaid planning, estate planning, estate administration,
estate litigation and guardianships. He has handled numerous
Medicaid applications before Medicaid offices in various counties
throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and he has also represented
clients in estate and elder law matters before all probate courts
in southern New Jersey as well as Orphans Court in Philadelphia.
He maintains his law office in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Prior to entering private practice in 1992, Mr. Rice served
as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Attorney Generals
Office, where he represented the State Departments of Labor,
Education and Environmental Protection in administrative, trial
and appellate law issues.
Mr. Rice is a member of the American, New Jersey State, and
Camden County Bar Associations, and the National Academy of
Elder Law Attorneys. He received his law degree from Villanova
University School of Law and his Bachelors of Arts degree (Economics
and Political Science) from Northwestern University.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Mr. Rice
has handled a wide variety of cases in State Courts in New Jersey
and Pennsylvania, as well as Federal and Administrative Law
Courts.
Mr. Rice has spoken before numerous groups and organizations
about elder law issues, including Wills, Powers of Attorney,
Advance Medical Directives, estate litigation, Special Needs
Trusts, and Medicaid Planning.
